The Best J-Frame Holster On the Market?

The Smith & Wesson J-Frame is a venerable back up pistol, providing a lot of power in a compact size. Available in a number of models and calibers, the .38 special and .357 magnum variants have been both popular and lifesaving.

However, until now, many of the holsters for these diminutive pistols have been lacking. Some holsters didn’t stay properly in place on the belt. Some lacked carry height and cant adjustments altogether. Others used a flimsy polymer clip to go over the belt that never quite kept the pistol from canting unexpectedly while doing everyday tasks like walking. Very few were designed to work with modern accessories such as optics mounting plates such as the ROG. Others lack retention adjustment. Almost none came with soft silicone on the body side to reduce hotspots.

We thought we could offer something different to those of us who love the utility of the J-Frame. So we introduced the Revolver Bisect holster.

The Revolver Bisect includes a number of key features, making it unique in the market. The soft & adjustable body-side bump improves comfort. The belt clip plate ensures the holster remains under control and in place. The adjustments allow you to easily fine-tune the pistol’s ride height and cant to meet your needs. The steel belt clips securely remain in place. The premium construction helps ensure proper fitment for compatible pistols. Adjustable retention allows you to fine tune the draw to your preference. Finally, the holster is designed to also work with the Shield Arms ROG optic mounting system. There is no other holster like this on the market.

Almost no J-Frame holsters come with a bump that helps improve concealment and improve carry comfort. The Bisect bump is not only soft, but it is adjustable, allowing you to move it up or down to fit your anatomy. Additionally, thicker or thinner bumps can be optionally purchased and attached to the holster for those who need more or less bump effect.

Our concealment claw—designed and injection molded in-house—is also completely configurable. For a higher or lower claw, simply add or remove spacers. Or, if you prefer no claw, you can remove it entirely. To prevent the claw from protruding above the beltline during hip carry, simply flip the head of the claw 180°.

A screwdriver is all you need to intuitively tune retention of both the holster.

Included Werkz steel belt clips allow ride height and cant adjustment without compromising security. The Bisect is also compatible with many aftermarket C-Hooks or other manufacturer steel clips. Additionally, if you wish to swap out the double steel clip mount for a single steel clip, we provide the hardware necessary.

If you’re running a Crimson Trace laser grip, or a Shield Arms ROG, the holster is designed to work. (Note: Always verify fitment and retention yourself with an unloaded pistol.)

Each Bisect is made to order – with multiple color and barrel length options, you’re not just getting some holster off a shelf. You’re receiving a hand-built, hand-fit concealment experience built for you in the United States.
