A Woodland Hills homeowner woke up to sounds outside his home on the 5500 block of Fallbrook Avenue. He investigated and found two men in black hoodies trying to steak his Camaro from his driveway. He confronted the men, and gunfire erupted. Bullets struck the homeowner’s front door, and blood was later found on the hood of the Camaro. The reportedly fled in a similar Camaro.
This is another example of “you might not be the only one armed.” While it may seem to be a good idea to confront would-be car thieves, it is also important to be aware that they may also be armed. The bullet hole(s) in the door also indicate that a family member observing from the safety of the home may actually be in danger as well.
