From all of us here at Werkz, we wish our fellow countrymen a blessed and safe 250 celebration.
To me, this day is not “the 4th of July.” That is a date on the calendar. It’s “Independence Day,” or the day that American patriots stood up and separated themselves from their own overbearing government. These patriots believed they were doing this based upon God-given rights, not the absolute rights of kings, or permission granted by clergy. The founding fathers believed in rights that God gave to all men.
If it’s been a while, I recommend reading the Declaration of Independence again.
