Glock has announced long-awaited slimline magazines with a 15-round capacity. This provides the much anticipated capacity increase of slimline pistols utilizing OEM fit, finish, and reliability. The pictures show a double stack magazine with what appears to be an indented steel mag catch. Hopefully this means there is no need to change out the polymer mag release on the pistol.
Update 5/8/2026: We do have these steel magazines in house, and they fit too tight in our standard slimline carriers. We’ve determined how to allow the same carrier to fit both steel & poly slimline magazines, and have introduced that change into our right handed Bisect mag carriers; updates to the M7 carriers should be complete in the next week.
