A woman told police that 30-year-old Malik Robinson had been making “unwanted sexual advances” toward her in her home. She said she tried to get away from Robinson, but he followed her and started sexually assaulting her. She then managed to get her gun and shoot Robinson once.
Robinson was taken to Indianapolis hospital, where he later died.
Women can often be overpowered by men, so it is important that they have the proper tools to defend themselves. In this case, the woman found some defense with her own firearm. While the situation is tragic, it could have ended even worse for her. It is important for the women in our lives to be adequately armed and trained.
