Shortening or lengthening the barrels or grips of pistols seems to result in endless variations.
Springfield has another variation of their Prodigy, the “Compact.” It’s available in either 3.5″ or 4.25″ barrel configurations, and features a grip shortened to fit a 15-round magazine. The pistol also has a shortened beavertail to make it a little more compact.
