Here is an interesting story. Thieves were shot by their own gun in Memphis, TN.
MPD reports the violence started as an attempted robbery. According to investigators, the female suspect lured the male victim to her car, where she and a second suspect tried to rob him at gunpoint.
Police said the victim managed to grab one of the suspect’s guns and shoot both alleged robbers. Officers arrived to find a man and woman with gunshot wounds near the motel entrance. Both were transported to Regional One in critical condition.
Less than ten minutes later, police were called to a nearby home on Fairbrook Avenue, where a third person involved had fled for help.
While this happened in early morning, it’s unclear if it was dark or not. Either way, it appears to have been a bold move by the man to disarm one of the robbers and shoot them. It’s also unclear to me why the victim went to the woman’s car. Do you think she was asking for help, or lured him over by other means?
