Nextorch released their WL15 this week. It boasts 1200 lumens and 44,100 candela in a TLR-1 style form factor. It comes with the normal mounting keys. The light takes either 2x 16340 (rechargeable) or 2x CR123a batteries. It also appears to have TLR-7 style switches.
I’ve not handled the light, but imagine it probably looks and feels to be of reasonable quality. I like that it can use rechargeable batteries. It looks to be very similar to the TLR-1, right down to the “out the back” batteries and the full toggle switch. I do not know if it is holster compatible though — and that could be the most important compatibility.
Given the MSRP of $136.99, is this a compelling light compared to Streamlight offerings which (for a little more) you know will properly fit in your existing TLR-1 holster?
