Who Shall the Lord’s Elect Condemn?

Hymns connect us more deeply to scripture. Hymns are a form of worship of our Lord. Plus, they are reassurance of His divine love and salvation. I’ve come to appreciate the traditional worship that has been practiced for hundreds of years.

Last Sunday we sang this one by Isaac Watts. The words are based upon Romans 8:33-39, and the music was composed years later by Lewis Edson. I love how the parts play together.

What a triumphant song to sing! The Lord has us, so what can men do?
