Happy Thanksgiving! I have so much to be thankful for during this 2025 holiday, including those of you reading these words!
Psalm 107:1 reads, “O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
I am thankful, in no particular order, for family, employees, customers, suppliers, community, the Lord’s church, government, plentiful clean air, pure water, beautiful countryside, a warm home, marriage, family, loving parents who instilled strong values, fun grandchildren, the Lord’s loving sacrifice, the Holy Spirit, the written word, church fathers who have passed down so much knowledge, the sound of rain falling, a friendly smile, tools, cars, modern medicine, etc etc etc. I’m crushed under an avalanche of merciful and loving blessings that the Father has provided to me.
Relevant to my weekly note, I’m thankful for those who read and are encouraged by these words. You and so many others read not because of me, but because of the Lord. It is His will which makes this happen, whether we’ve met, or if we’ve never spoken. I’m thankful for you.
