“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”
All things are under God’s control, right down to the finest detail. The good man delights in this. It brings him peace, but also knows that troubled times are also under God’s control. We know that all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. God does good for us, so the trials must also be good for us. Thus, as tough as it can be at times, we must rejoice in the trials He sends our way. Those trials are God-ordained.
Is there any other option? Yes, we know that the devil comes to kill and destroy, but God is all powerful and takes care of every step of man. No man or fallen angel thwarts God’s plan. So I must look up for every blessing, even the tough ones!
