Holosun has just released the P.ID-K compact light. Holosun provides the following information on this light:
This powerful light produces 500 lumens / 6,500 candela on high mode and 250 lumens / 3,000 candela on low mode, ensuring positive target identification in low-light situations.
I suspect it’s durable, but am not certain the specs or price are good enough to give it significant traction in the market.

If they can boost the specs the form factor looks good. I would also love to see them bring these style switches to the larger P.ID models as that is my main reason for not getting one.
Mine just came in the mail. First impressions are really good, but only time will tell. I was very impressed with the accessories it is packaged with, and the build quality seems excellent. I remain impressed with its big brother, which is why I wanted to try this one. Full-sized light on the full-sized gun and the compact version on the compact of the same gun. Seemed like a good plan. So far, so good…
