As a teenager, I’m not sure what I would have done in a dire circumstance such as this.
This story is from AZFamily, and happened in Buckeye Arizona.
Apparently a man violated the protective order on his ex-girlfriend; he went to her house and threatened her. A teen who lives at the house told him to leave. Both the teen and the man were leaving, when the man got out of his truck, pointed his gun at the teen, and (apparently) fired a shot. The teen proceeded to run the man over. The man is in the hospital now, and his truck looks like it has some damage.
My guess is that the car’s headlights were sufficient for the teen to clearly identify the threat.
