Golf Range: Dangerous At Night?

Gun-related arrests apparently are popular at one driving range near Chicago. Tess Kenny of Naperville Sun created this chart based upon Naperville TopGolf arrest records from the local PD.

The Chicago Tribune story states, in part:

Officers were performing a proactive foot patrol of the Naperville Topgolf lot when they observed suspected drugs and a handgun in plain view inside a parked, unoccupied Honda,

It seems rather bold to me to leave a handgun in plain view.

While this may be specific to the location, I’m adding driving ranges to my list of places to potentially avoid at night. Up to 5 or 6 firearms-related arrests in a month is crazy for a single commercial establishment!
