This is a frightening scene.
A silver SUV pulls up to a house with two occupants. Two men get out, cause property damage (presumably to a vehicle), then forcibly enter the home.
When inside, gunfire is exchanged with one of the home’s occupants.
Then the younger of two men jumps back in the SUV and flees, evading police initially, but was later arrested.
Thankfully, the occupant that exchanged gunfire was not injured, but the older of the two men from the silver SUV was found unresponsive.
I cannot imagine the terror of being the one defending myself in this situation. I would be praying that the Lord keep and protect my family, while preparing for the eventual break-in. I would want to have a powerful light on my pistol (or preferably, rifle) to reduce the vision of an attacker once he breaks in.
Terrifying.
